Graduate from Arizona State University's Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering with a Bachelors in Computer Science.
I love technology and computers, and I am always finding new things to be really excited about under that umbrella.
I hope to find a great position where I can be highly effective and beneficial to the company. I have great 'soft' skills, and thrive in a workplace environment as both a leader and team member. I love to code, and building out any sort of tech 'system' to accomplish a specific task or achieve a long-run goal is my bread and butter.
At Mashgin I assembled and advanced deployment of 60+ Mashgin Point-of-Sale kiosks for Arizona Circle-K stores, trained relevant stakeholders at 20+ locations on Mashgin's signature PoS, and educated 250+ customers on how to use Mashgin.
I have built out an Oracle Flex Instance running Ubuntu to host WordPress, Nginx, and MariaDB on top of Docker, to support my portfolio website. On that same instance I have configured WireGuard to provide site-to-site and site-to-remote access between two locations and 3 floating clients.
At home, I host my own personal cloud of sorts, that allows me to allocate various levels of compute to containers and virtual machines from anywhere I have an internet connection. This Proxmox box primarily hosts OpenWRT for routing, Pi-Hole for ad and tracker blocking at the DNS level, Ubuntu as a generic samba fileserver, Windows 11 with a VFIO GPU passed in as my primary Call of Duty machine, and Kali Linux for some internal security experiments.
My definition of fun is tinkering with some new software, hardware, product, or feature. The byproduct of this (beside migraines) is a constant development of 'hard' technical skills in whatever area I am currently obsessing over. I hope to shift this focus to a professional context soon.
